“It Is What It Is”
To the irk of my wife “It is what it is” is a statement that I have and will continue to use. There are many ways to interpret this statement, from “Oh well live with it” to simply state the obvious and imply helplessness. I disagree with most so called definitions that I have read on this simple statement.
In my world “It is what it is” describes the status of anything. Be it business or politics. If it’s a problem it merits a new starting point. The problem has been defined, now is the time to fix it and make sure it is not repeated.
I hope conservatives and whoever emerges will see it in my Kwik thought way.
